We are giving thanks to God for his blessing on two years of nightly revival services at Kensington Temple. What started out as 'a month of miracles' in March 2008 grew under the blessing of God to 48 months of fruitful evangelism, signs and wonders, healings and miracles. Over 5,000 people responded to the gospel during this period, many of whom made first-time commitments to Christ. Over 90% of those who made commitments have been successfully followed up in Kensington Temple with 65% already committed to cells and stepping onto the Ladder of Success. Many are not only in cells but have their own cell or are in training to become cell leaders.
The Principle of 12 Cell Vision we adopted in 2000 has ensured that the fruit of evangelism is not lost and that discipleship remains at the heart of our mission. The principles of revival have now been so established in the central church that we can release our evangelist William Lee to initiate other Revival Centres in London. William has already begun to 'spy out the land' as he visits different churches in the London City Church Network every Sunday.
A special 'birthday celebration' set for Sunday March 7th will be a time of thanksgiving for God for all the things we have seen and heard over the last 2 years. Countless healings and miracles have impressed the crowds and clearly shown that our gospel does not come in Word only but in power and in the demonstration of the Holy Spirit. We have seen remarkable healings from deafness, visual impairment and walking difficulties including those confined to wheelchairs.
After the 7th March, William will be full time in the network and we must pray as never before that this revival will spread, until all London is saved. Our city needs this! In the central services, the revival continues with opportunity for people to respond to the call to follow Christ and to receive prayer for healing. The revival prayer meeting Mondays will continue as well the Tuesday evening Revival Training which will continue to train up workers for the harvest. Wednesday evenings will host a weekly Revival Healing Service and the Friday and Saturday evenings will continue their revival emphasis. Thursday evenings will be left open so that the musicians can have an evening free for rehearsals.
The cells continue to win the lost, consolidate new believers, disciple cell leaders and send them out to open new cells. The church is growing and people are being blessed. KT is the place to be if you want to serve the Lord!
