On Monday 30th March to Sunday 4th April we will be taking the week to focus on Easter Evangelism, every night our street teams will be going out to share the love of Jesus with people in the local community. Every member of the church will be encouraged to share their faith with others and to invite neighbours, friends and work colleagues to the different events that we are arranging for Easter. Easter is a time to re-centre our lives upon the Cross of Christ, let's make sure that Christ is at the centre of our lives as we celebrate Easter together.
Easter evangelism is always a frantic time in church life where everyone is charged up and believing God for souls to be saved. We are having lots of different kinds of events coming up for Easter to encourage you to evangelise and share your faith with others from giving someone a bible to inviting them to one of our special Easter events.
During the Easter period we have so many different opportunities for you to get involved in evangelism this Easter time. So don't mission out. Let's join together as a church and believe for souls to turn to Christ during this season.
For more information on any of these events please call 020 8799 6179 or email missions@kt.org
The Good Friday Service is at 11am
Our Easter Sunday Celebration Services will be at 9am, 11am, 2.30pm and 5pm with the drama Heaven's Gates Hell's Flames at 7pm
One of the ways that Heaven's Gates Hell's Flames is successful is that people invite their neighbours, friends and work colleagues to come and see it. During the drama God convicts them and when the altar call is given many people give their hearts to the Lord. I would like to encourage you to get your Evangelism of 3 bookmark and start to write down the names of those you would like to invite to the Easter Events. Each cell group should spend 1 month fasting and praying for specific friends and family members to be saved. On the bookmark there are 10 names you can put down of which 3 you start to focus upon. Let's start preparing now and praying for our friends to come to Christ. Now is the time for whole families to turn back to Christ, this time could be the time for your family and friends to be saved.
We will be selling our Easter packs again this year and we will be encouraging you to give a free Bible to someone you care about at work or school. One of the best gifts you can give some during Easter time is a bible. So make sure you get yours and pray about who you will give it to.
Wednesday 31st March to Sunday 4th April at 7pm We are believing for many people to give their hearts to Jesus during this time. We are looking for people to take part in the drama from the cells and congregation of Kensington Temple. We need over 45 people to take part in the drama. You don't need to be experienced; you just need a willing heart to serve God. Why not join us for the first of our auditions and run through on Saturday 20th March. We need 5 children (2 under 5, 2-3 teenagers, and a 7-9 years old) 10-12 men and 24-28 women. The full run through for the drama will be Wednesday 31st March. You will need to arrange to get that day off work. You can watch the promo on youtube: www.youtube.com/user/MarengoAG
Monday 30th - Saturday 3rd April at 6.30pm During the Easter week you can join our Street Teams which will be going out night by night to share the gospel with people in the local community. Each team will have a creative element, handing out Easter Eggs to people they meet or presenting the Cross in a drama format. I would like to encourage all of our Cell groups to sign up and believe God for souls to be saved during the week. Teams will meet in the lower hall at 6.30pm and will be sent out from there.
On Good Friday and Easter Sunday The Passion of the Christ will be screened FREE of charge at the Coronet Cinema, Notting Hill Gate. After each screening we will give guests an opportunity to receive Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and also to receive a FREE Bible
This year it's back again, our KT International Food Fayre which creates such a buzz amongst all cultures and nations at KT year by year. We will be using the Food Fayre as a strategy to connect people to church from the street as well as creating an opportunity for people from church to connect with each other whilst having tasting the different delicacies of each nation. If you would like your nation to be involved at this year's food fayre let us know. Money raised will go towards the Gospel for All Peoples (GAP) fund for Global missions.
