What an amazing year it has been... and so quick! So Lady was certainly an eye-opener for the mentors as it gave us an opportunity to gauge the challenges that our young ladies faced.
As the months progressed we observed how the So Ladies became more and more confident in voicing their struggles and concerns. The primary objective was to encourage and enable them to rely on the Word of God and godly counsel to get them through the tests of life. Both the So Ladies and their mentors learned a great deal as together we strove to develop personable relationships that will last a lifetime. The next So Lady intake will take place from the 14th July-21st September 2012. As there is only a limited number of spaces on this programme, all applications will go through a selection process. Please apply early to avoid disappointment.
So Lady focuses on adequately equipping young ladies from 13 years of age and upwards with the right tools for embarking on their inescapable emotional journey towards becoming great Godly women who are the leaders, mentors and mothers of the future.
In a world where the emphasis on moral integrity, self-esteem, purity and godliness is severely lacking, there is a need to facilitate our young women’s futures by educating and supporting them through the renewing of their minds, in preparation for their God given assignment. So Lady is engaging, enlightening, fun-loving and entertaining whilst being mindful to maintain the combined focus of emotional, physical and spiritual growth and includes:
• Teaching on Issues of the heart… true beauty, being young confident lady in Christ and much more on the challenges that young ladies face today • 7 Beautiful chapters through the year… including Baptism, an Encounter & A Night Owl • Literature for her soul… including the Bible • Becoming a virtuous young lady who honours Our King formed at the end like Queen Esther.
As our mothers are the very heart of who we are as women and the primary models that help us through the journey towards womanhood, we invite and encourage mothers/female sponsors to sign up with their daughters/wards. We gladly welcome your participation in some of the sessions.
We are also looking for female sponsors to come and support the programme by signing up to sponsor one of the young ladies for the duration of the programme.
